Take the Ugu and pick four handfuls of leaves, select the freshest looking leaves and rinse these, pat dry, shred and set aside.
Clean your lettuce, pat dry, roughly chop and also set aside.
Peel the carrots and cut into thin slices.
Deseed, rinse and slice the green pepper and tomato.
Toss all the sliced and chopped ingredients and use the salad dressing of your choice.
