Boil the water in a medium sized pot.
Slowly stir in the mealie meal until the consistency thickens, lower the heat and cover the pot.
Simmer for 20 then stir the mixture vigorously and cover for 10 min. Serve hot.
For the morogo/spinach, wash the leaves several times, pat dry, finely chop and set aside.
Then finely chop the onion and fry in a medium sized pan.
Add the stock and chilli to the onion and braise on medium heat, until the liquid has evaporated.
Add the leaves to the mixture and stir until the leaves have wilted.
Cook until there is no liquid left in the pot.
The leaves contain some water so you might need to increase the heat slightly, please do not cover the pan.
Add salt to taste and serve with hot mealie pap/papa.
