Mix all the wet ingredients: Milk, eggs, vanilla essence. Sift in the flour, sugar, baking powder and mix into the wet mixture.
Stir in the soft butter and you will notice that it breaks into smaller pieces.
Allow the batter to rest for 15 minutes. Warm a non stick pan on medium heat.
Transfer the mixture into a jug and pour into hot pan, you can make more than one pancake at a time depending on the size of the pan. The mixture will spread evenly into a circle/s.
Once the pancake/s form small bubbles on top then it is time to flip and cook the other side. The pancakes should be golden brown.
Continue this process until you have finished the batter.
Serve warm with syrup, honey or fruit.
